dentistry in the usa is just about the same....you dont really need to have your teeth cleaned by someone else every 6 months---and toothpaste actually does MORE damage than its worth (it removes the natural infection/bateria killing stuff in your mouth for a chemical solution to the problem which then needs to be cleaned off or it will eat your teeth---yeah I think I will pass thanks).....dentists here are just as bad---my husband who does have bad gums, never had so much as a tiny cavity when he was younger, now has had about 7 fillings since going to this new dentist---money grubbers all of them.
its all about money (japan is worse---they make you come back 3 times for what in the usa would be one single appointment as the dentists there get paid per visit more than if they were to do it all at once).
enough talk about doctors....just makes my blood pressure increase.
so
how about the weather?????

No doctor talk? Okay but I haven't been to the dentist in a while. oO Oh well.
Weather is back up in the 80's. Suppose to maybe storm tonight and tomorrow is supposed to be low 70's. So pretty nice I guess.

Never went to the Dentist...When I was in little the dentist would come to my school and teach us about brushing your teeth and things like that so that was pretty much the only times I saw a dentist.
I don't have any cavities and while my smile isn't perfect, my teeth are "normally" arranged (none are growing side ways, there isn't really any gap between them). Maybe I'll have to go see a dentist because one of my wisdom tooth is growing, but right now it doesn't hurt and I make sure that what I eat doesn't get stuck back there...I really don't want to get them removed...not because of the price (living in France, so only have to pay around 20%) but because I don't like surgeries...
(Sorry Cosy ).
The weather here is nice right now, but it's supposed to rain tomorrow and the day after .

Here we had thunder and rain in the morning, warm summer weather in the middle of the day, then some rain around 6 PM, then some clearance, and now we got storm and rain again, typical Danish weather.

its ok red....I have not been to a dentist since before I went to japan...and see absolutely no reason to return.
got a good nap today.....hubby came home with a big chip on his shoulder--and a huge workload to go with it (and the cold he has isnt helping either)......his cold is doing better, the chip has been dealt with and the huge workload--well, lets just say I think he will be working again this weekend--all weekend

Coming from somewhere where cold is 25*C, winter shall be fun.
I don't drink coffee (or tea), so I prefer hot chocolate.

I learned to be warm....after surviving winter in japan for 2 years....they dont believe in insulation in their homes, they want to be one with the environment (yeah right this is why half of the country is now all concrete).....so whatever temp it is outside, its only a weeeee bit warmer inside (mostly due to either body heat or the lack of wind).
Schools have no HVAC...you OPEN the windows to cool, and CLOSE them to keep warm (though they do have a few gasoline/kerosine type heaters in the classrooms--they arent allowed to have them on during classes!)
So my apartment was cold in the winter and I got used to it---now I think 50 is still quite warm, 40 is a bit chill and 32 is getting cold---last winter I didnt even wear my winter coat (it only got into the 20's or so) I used my old augie windbreaker and I was not cold
I dont fare as well in the heat--though I was very hot over there, they do like to over air condition most businesses (not schools-some teachers rooms had a/c but they didnt like to use it much)......so going into the grocery store (think of the frozen food aisle being the whole store)...and then back outside to 100+....wasnt too good for you really.
and all of that changed the way my body deals with temps....I can handle cold really well---my first year I would turn the heat off at night since I really didnt trust my room heater...so by the time I woke up it would be very very cold in my apartment (the 2nd year I got sick and decided that I would rather die of a fire than freezing to death and kept it on at night)....
I like tea or chocolate, coffeeee just has tooo much caffffeeeeiiinnneeeeeeee (and its bitter, bleh)
crum....maybe I should become a politician or novelist since I dont think I am capable of replying in only one or two sentences

I'll walk out in freezing temps in shorts and a t-shirt all the time. My parents and gf don't find it too humorous lol

I did that the other night. It was cold but not freezing, perhaps around 10-15*C and people in their car gave me weird looks xD. Then I realize that people were wearing either jeans, long sleeves or both.
I prefer being cold than being hot...At least cold you just have to put more things, while hot...there is only so much you can take off xD.

That is true Red. I prefer being cold as well as you can keep adding layers. Once you are naked you can't go any further than that. Though sometimes it is cooler to wear jeans and a long sleeve plaid shirt. I wear jeans when I bale and I keep cool. Keeps my legs out of the sun and the cool air from evaporating in my jeans.

weather gives us variety (unless you live in someplace like tahiti or florida ) without the season changes its really boring----so even though I am not a fan of snow or intensive heat...I am glad that we have the extremes so that we can enjoy the places inbetween more when they are here (waxing philosophical sorry)
and yes cold is better than hot, though I can remember a day in the early 1980's when the temp with windshield factored in was -80 below, would have taken 150F that day! oh yeah.
made homemade curry for dinner, didnt turn out the way I had wanted it to .....oh well, cant have winning dinners everyday (well, at least if its me and my hubby cooking).
Jeans...dont think I even own a pair any more...the styles they come in just either never fit my uhm...yeah-figure, or we just tooo messy for my tastes.....nothing like looking like a fat lady and being told about it (yeah I am aware that I need to get rid of a few pounds all in the same spot, really I am).
